business center start up
—Project Snapshot: In 2006, the Northwest Agriculture Business Center needed to define a clear purpose and measurable, achievable service goals for the organization’s inaugural strategic plan. Dumas & Associates, Inc. worked with the founding board of directors, executive director, and staff to identify and prioritize critical milestones for this agricultural innovation center serving the needs of 5 Western Washington counties.
—Results: Critical guidance was provided regarding short-term, achievable goals that would demonstrate the Center’s value and accomplishments within it’s first year. Through surveys and discussions held over a 2 day retreat, this newly formed board prioritized the common objectives and unique needs of the 5 participating counties, developed measurable goals, and outlined service strategies for the Center’s first 3 year operational plan.
